    QB VINCE YOUNG

(on what happened on the play that he got hurt)

I just kind of tweaked my hamstring a little bit so I just got off of it and told coach, ‘I’m just going to sit it out. I didn’t want to get too bad with it and injure it even worse.’

(on if he had to come back if it were in a playoff-type situation)

Oh yeah, definitely. Safety-wise, like I always say, I’m going to listen to the doctors and do what they say because they know best.

(on taking precautions and whether he is more aware of them now than a year ago)

It’s big, just listening to all the things that are going on around the league, from concussions to sprained knees, all kinds of stuff. The game is getting faster and guys are getting more physical. All kind of things are going on. You definitely have to protect your body, and our trainers did a good job of making sure everything was straight.

    (on his hamstring)

It’s alright. I don’t really feel too much pain. Like I said, I did a good job of getting off of it. Our trainers did a good job of letting me know what I needed to do to keep it warm. You see me on the bicycle during the game and things like that. It’s not too sore and that’s a good thing...

Glad he decided to sit out the 2nd half...doesn't sound as bad as it looked.

I don't like his attitude. Should have finished his run even if it meant his leg tore in two.

Glad they shut him down in a game that we obviously had in hand.

We are going to need him the next 3 (and hopefully more) weeks...

The best we can come out of this season is 8-8. We're not beating Mia, SD and Seattle.

    Nice attitude.

We all already know you hate VY and love Kerry, so maybe you should just keep your negative opinions to yourself :) . The team is winning, get over it.

:flush: I'd agree if this game carried any weight. Its the Rams. You see even Kerry did well vs. them. Vince was being smart about the next few weeks. If we ever needed Vince it wasn't in this one, but in the next 3.

That's where your wrong. Among other places too, but this isn't the end. You'll see teams choke as we keep winning.

I only hope this continuing issue Vince is having with his hamstring/ knee becomes more of a point of interest for him to work on.

It was 14-0 in the second quarter when VY left the game. Far from a done deal.

14-0 don't forget driving were on there 28 I believe so we were going to score against a rookie Qb game was over. If Vy would of continued to play Cj would of put up 200 yds rushing when Vy went out the game so did the rushing game.
