I hope James Harrison gets a career ending injury.

While I do think he is completely classless, what he said doesn't offend me in the slightest. I would not care if I hurt someone either as a LB in the NFL. Hurting someone and injuring someone are two different things, something he distinguishes if you read more than 2 sentences of the article.

Hurt - be the source of pain
Injure - cause bodily harm to

If this were any player on our team no one would see anything wrong with it. Did you guys even read the article?

He says he doesn't care if he HURTS people. No defensive player cares if they HURT people- that's their job. He even noted the difference between injuring someone and hurting them.


The only problem I have is that- he'll get away with saying this and continue making helmet to helmet hits simply because he plays for the Steelers. The team where defensive rules don't apply.

Just because he says he doesn't want to injure people, doesn't mean that he plays clean...

 

i hate that we are having this discussion and not discussing Xs and Os from game film. Earlers never lets us down.

 

Maybe I should have read it but I can't forget when he tried to kill Vince Young just a few weeks ago. That play was beyond any football related move.

 

I want our guys to hurt people. Hurt them so bad they remember it the next time they see 'im coming....
