I Have a Sneaking Suspicion That Adoree Jackson Sucks

Said it before, saying it again... if the Titans don't target a ST Coach and spend whatever it takes...

Punt and Kick-off coverage continue to be adequate at best and the blocking and discipline on Returns are infuriating too many times.

 

Yeah. Every punt return I expect a block in the back call.

 

Yes. He does, indeed, suck.

 

Per PFF:

Jackson was stingy in coverage, allowing just two catches on six targets into his coverage for a total of 16 yards; his most impressive play on the night was a beautiful strip towards the end of the first half on fellow rookie Keelan Cole that allowed the Titans to tack on three more points before time expired. Jackson has been a bit overshadowed by the play of other rookie cornerbacks this year but he currently sits 29th among all cornerbacks with an 83.6 overall grade, with arguably his best performance of the season helping his team get into the playoffs.

Good rookie season for Adoree. No matter your opinion of PFF, I think we can all agree that we've got a good player.

 

Agree...his development as a defender this season has been a bright spot, and hopefully that continues into next year.

 

He's been better as a defender than I expected and worse as a returner.

Definitely better than vice versa.

If we get a new coach in here that actually cares about ST, maybe that will improve.

 

Punt coverage has been good but that is mostly on Kern. He punts it on the sideline, inside the 20, no matter where he is on the field.

 

How bout ATV? Lol

 

Would rather have ATV than Ryan.
