Honestly this season it seems like records don't matter as much as they used to. That Jags team that beat us when they were winless was not a bad football team. These raiders beat the Chargers, who just beat the Chiefs, which were two teams that we played very well against. This year it's truly any given Sunday. This Raiders win means as much to me as any other win. I don't care what the record or stats of the opponents are this season. I expect every game to be tough.

 

I think I was a bit more clear than that account of my position. Unless you're just "eat up with the dumb-azz".

I just don't think it will be fair for you to say "well after we beat the Raiders I wanted us to win, but then we lost to the Colts so we should've lost to the Raiders like I said earlier..."

Just want to be clear, do you want us to lose out for the better draft pick or not?

 

I just feel that titans fans can't let go of old players. It's amazing how much I still hear about McNair and VY.

 

Not sure why you would get hate for your statement. And Fitzy has always been a gamer. A big part of the reason why a guy like him, with minimal talent, has been able to stick around the NFL for so long.

 

Re-read the thread/posts if you're that interested in I think.

For others I'll summarize succinctly: I don't think winning the remaining games is our top priority. I've seen enough from his team and coaches to know they are not capable of going the distance. And a higher draft pick DOES give us MORE options to build for a better future. That is what I'm interested in. And I still feel that way. Munchak and Co. need to go regardless.

 

So you want the Titans to lose out but you want to be able to give yourself an "out" in case we win enough to make playoffs and make any playoff noise.
