reese did what he had to do to keep a super bowl caliber team together for two more years.

I didn't say he was a great GM. If MR could actually sign a WR then it'd be a different story. Most of these players came from Reese. MR hasn't even made a splash yet except a couple drafts.

I didn't say you thought he was a great GM. I personally think that he was, though.

If MR doesn't get us a WR corps. that can actually funtion well, our team will fall apart. Let's face it. Chris Davis and Paul Williams will NEVER come along. Mccareins was a waste of money, I would have rather have kept Roydell. Gage is the only proven member of the WR's. By NFL standards, the guy is the 3rd man on the depth chart, not a #1 receiver. Our passing attack is, and always has been, our weakest link. Why can't we fix it? Are we not confident in our Quarterbacks? Somewhere along the line, someone is making very poor decisions regarding the WR position.

It's a little too early to want all of MR's picks to step up. So far, he has two huge hits in Griff and CJ, and one huge bust in CHen. It's too early for everyone else.

He's on the best start we could have hoped for.

very good points, alot of credit to floyd reese but remember back in what was it 2003 or 2004 maybe earlier we had to dump off like 15 starters to have enough room for a sabrett vender lol so in that respect reese killed me. but in response to reese drafting well, theres no question. All in all i think MR has done a good job, we hit gold with griffin, he has a shat load of potential and is proving that there is no sophmore slump in his vocabulary.

Very few MR picks and signees doing much to this point. Kearse got his first sack in 3 games and crumpler is struggling though neither of them makes big time money.

CJ playing well which is important because lendale has not been overwhelming. Griffen obviously a great pick. His defensive line picks all look pretty good and i think had johnson not hurt the knee he would be an up and comer now.

Would like to see more out of those 3 WRs.
