It's hard to tell without Starks getting knocked on his *** every play. Rod Coleman or Grady Jackson for depth anyone???

    I think that's a rash assumption.

All he & his agent have to do is look at the market & realise that no other franchised players got a deal done. The best thing he can do to secure a longterm deal is show up & play hard again this year.

If he really has matured like he claimed to have last year,he'll be back.A number of players (especially in Chicago) have been very vocal about their unhappiness with the tag, exhisting contracts etc.

All we've really heard from Albert so far is that he's spent so long in Tennessee he feels this is where he belongs.

Don't give up on him so easily.

The Atlanta leap and sack... that's what I'm thinking right now. One heck of a play. Hope he returns, but I think we could survive his departure should it happen.

I agree with someone else on here that said without Fat-Al, we'll give up 160+ and just get worn down without any aggression. With Fat-Al, we'll be pretty good for 8-10 games a year while still not being aggressive.

  6. I think the team will survive. Ya Albert was a clutch player...but he's not god.

We better hope one of these new tackles is the next albert, or we're going to find out next season what it's like without him. And it won't be good. Unless we replace Schwartz.

I'm still not worried. I think if Albert has another great season, he gets locked into a new contract the first day after the season. The titans will pay him, and Albert's money demands won't skyrocket unreasonably. He'll be worth more, yes, but the Titans will pay him more than some of the 40 million contracts this season. Albert has said that he wants to be in TN. He's been here (including college) for over a decade now, I bet if the Titans are willing to pay close to market value he'll sign.

I hope we get him signed long term if he produces like last year but I don't see it happening.

Jones or Johnson one or both need to become very solid DT's.
