How Many Sacks for KVB?

    I saw last night that Vanden Bosch is pledging $1,000 per sack he has this year to cystic fibrosis and that he wants Titans fans to pledge also on his website (www.kvb93.com). That is very cool! It's cool when a player puts his money where his mouth is and ties his community work to what he does on the field.

    How many sacks do you guys think he will have this year? He had 12 last year. I'm going with 15!

    Depends on how many snaps Albert plays. If Albert is on the field 75% of the defensive snaps, then I'm thinking KVB could easily get 13.5 or more.

    With Albert only around 55% for the season, closer to 8.5 - 9.5.

    keep in mind this from the tenneassean article: Vanden Bosch sheds body fat for a good cause

    "Titans defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch has long been regarded as one of the team's hardest workers.

    This offseason he took it up another notch by dropping his body fat from last year's 8-9 percent to around 5 percent. He hopes the reduction will pay off on the field.

    "Physically and mentally I am better than I have ever been in my career, and if all goes well I'll have a good season,'' the two-time Pro Bowl selection said. "Ultimately it is about how many sacks we get as a defensive line and how we perform defensively.''
