Like others have mentioned, it really depends on how well Jake plays. If he lights it up, then he can miss a few games. If he can stay healthy all year, then I would be okay with solid play

    If he starts all 16 games, then I need to see: >3500 yards passing (218 yds/game), >24 TDs (passing/rushing), < 16 turnovers (ints/fumbles), 60% comp, 10 wins

    14-15 games: >3150 yards passing (225 yards/game), >21 TDs, < 14 turnovers, 62% comp, 10 wins

    12-13 games: >3000 yards passing (250 yards per game), >24 TDs, <12 turnovers, 62% comp, 9 wins

    10 - 11 games: >2750 yards passing (275 yards per game), 20 TDs, < 10 turnovers, 65% comp, 8 wins

    0 - 9 games: Goner

If it were up to me I draft the best QB available and put all three of these guys in a steel cage.

That was just for the season though.

The only way he can stay on after this season is if he plays AT LEAST 12 games and has a winning record (minimum of 7-5). And it really depends on the overall performance.

If we can get him back for a "cheap" QB contract and have him compete against the backup, I'd be fine with that too.

He's gonna need to play lights out for me to want him here beyond 2014.

Ive been back and forth all off season on if I want us to add a QB, and here is where I stand now. Draft a QB in the 2nd.

I want to give Jake every possible chance to make it work, we have 4 years invested in him, if adding a blue chip player at 11 or anywhere in the 1st puts us over the top and gives us a better team, do it.

Reason Im looking to the 2nd round is because I have signed off on 6 QB's, no sense in reaching for one at 11 if that kid may never see the field due to Locker staying healthy.

Give our team a weapon at 11 that will step in and make a difference, and at 42 we can take a QB to cover our ass in case Locker goes down.

If Locker were to embrace a backup career that could be his calling with TN. He'd hopefully have lots more time to heal.
