I dunno. Cuz there is such a thing as a bad opinion?:grrhee:

You don't want your starters playing with emotion in the last few minutes of a preseason game that doesn't count on the regular season when they can risk getting hurt and not be available when it counts.

That time is for bubble players who may or may not make the roster.

And then what? We look like punks and get a bad rap for playing first stringers against scrubs. Be on the news until the season starts.

    No thanks.

i have seen it done before, you have a point with the bubble players, but maybe in the last preseason game, if both coaches can agree to put there starters in for the final 5 minutes of the game, or something like that, then i dont see anything wrong with that, gives your starting unit to test there 2 minute drill when i matters rather then ending the half.

I've watched a lot of football in my time and I can't recall ever seeing an NFL team doing that. Maybe running the 2 min. drill at the end of the first half or running the drill just to practice it during a quarter. Especially after they have sat for 2 quarters then bringing them back out to play. Too many chances of injury.

It used to be Fisher always wanted McNair to use the third preseason game to go through a halftime and come out for one series in the third quarter. I still think that could happen tonight with Young.

the way the 1st team offense has played so far I think they play well into the 3rd quarter. There is to many question marks not to let them play that long.

I hope a one of the RB's steps forward and takes control. If Young is the leading rusher the Titans are in for a long season.

You're kidding right? Warm up the muscles, let them cool down for a couple of hours and then go back out when there is an excellent chance of injury.
