How I fixed the NFL

Seems like something a soccer fan would dream up. In other words, seems like something a communist would dream up.

This is America. We don't do ties (often), we have our clocks count down like God intended, and a win is worth one God damn win.

WC round - Atl@NO / Car@Rams

2016 playoffs
NE, KC - bye
WC - Mia @pit / oak@ Ten
Dal, Atl - bye
WC - det@GB / NYG@Sea

Not doing more. Results really only effect WC round and not much.

 

You’d also put more emphasis on games vs Cleveland last year just for playing them later in the year.

Luck of the draw to get bad opponents late pays off more than beating same bad opponents early.

 

They have skewed the late games more to division opponents, for the most part, in recent years

 

Still effects seeding at least just by being the "best" of a bad division.
Imagine winning a division at 8-8 and getting the 3 seed or even worse catching a bye on at 9-7 or 10-6 over a 12-4 team that rested late.

Or another rough example, a team goes 11-0 wins division and bye at 12-1, then gets banged up because now that isn't really a bye clinching record anymore. Losing the last 3 games vs winning is a 9 point swing. In my scenarios above, the bye teams were around 23-25 points, 9 points would be huge.

Going 12-0 is only 18 points. That misses the playoffs in 3-4 conferences in my example.

They should make the 2nd string qb play the whole 4th quarter. Boom, nfl fixed

 

Better yet carry 4 QBs, each plays a quarter
