When you say the old Vince, do you mean the Rookie of the Year that went 8-5 despite his defense giving up the second most points in the league. The one that when you combined his running and passing stats had almost a 100 QB rating in the 8 wins? Is that the Old Vince?

Is this the hold hoge argument that they are hiding him? He keeps drives going with his legs and has been a major reason why we won those 2 games.

I have never seen one player divide a team and a fan base like this guy does. Why? The truth is he is an average QB. Can he win games? Yes. Can he be a franchise player for years to come? Who knows. We have nothing to base it on. Don't tell me his college stats. This is the NFL, college can't compare.

I don't know what stats you're looking at but I show he finished the 2006 season with a QB rating of 66.7 with 12 TD's and 13INT' my book that sucks. Oh, and yeah it's great to have a QB who can extend plays with his legs but he's not a running back, he's a QB. His job is to put the ball in the hands of the play makers. Big Ben, John Elway, yeah those guys can/could keep a play alive by being mobile....long enough to put the ball in the hands of the play makers. Bottom line they could throw the ball too. Sure Vince can run but he can't throw worth a crap.

Exactly, I think a lot of these hard core VY guys are just that, they're VY fans, not really Titans fans. If he got traded tomorrow they'd just move camp!

Look, I'm at Titans fan first and foremost, but am I a VY fan? Of course. I think it's been pretty much proven that he's a better fit for this team than Kerry Collins at this point. Collins had one decent year last year where he had a great running game and a great defense and was pretty much asked to manage the game. The main gripe about Vince goes back to two years ago, his first full year as the starter, where, let's face it, he sucked. He also had to deal with defensive coordinators knowing that he was the most dangerous weapon we had on offense and pretty much keyed on everything he did. Collins did not have to face that. He had "Smash and Dash" last year when he had his decent season. Now that Vince is back in, and enjoying the exploits of a top 3 running back in CJ, you see the results. He's playing well. He's not playing spectacularly, mind you. But he's not making the mistakes or forcing the throws that he did two years ago. And, more importantly, he's extending drives with his legs. And now that teams are focusing their defensive gameplans around CJ and not Vince, he's having a lot easier time making plays with his arm and his legs than he did two years ago.

    Fix it for ya!

    Anyway one point

Qbs I'd take over Young for this year
    -Manning (P)
    - Schaub

Ones that I'd take Young over this YEAR
    - Manning (E)
    - Campell
    - Freeman
    - Delhomme
    - Smith
    - Bulger
    - Hasselbeck
    - Stafford
    - Cutler (yeah I went there)
    - Cassel
    - Russell
    - Quinn
    - Garrad
    - Edwards
    - Sancez
    - Henne

So for this year I'd put him about 16th. (Note: That list is not in order)
