How do you Expect the 45 man active roster to look on opening day?

    I know more cuts will happen and potentially FA signings, but right now what do you think the 45 man active roster looks like week 1? We often carried 2 QB's and 2 RB's last year, so let me know what you think..

    This is my 45

    QB - Hasselbeck/Locker
    HB - CJ/Ringer
    FB - Hall
    WR - Britt/Washington/D Will/Gage/Mariani
    TE - Stevens/Cook/Graham
    OL - Roos/Stewart/Amano/Harris/Scott/Velasco/Matthews
    DE - Jones/Morgan/Hayes/Ford/Ball
    DT - Smith/Marks/Casey/Haye
    LB - Ruud/Witherspoon/Mcrath/Ayers/Curran/Shaw
    CB - Finnegan/Verner/Mccourty/Mouton
    S - Griffin/Hope/Fuller/Johnson
    K - Bironas
    P - Kern

    8 man PS

    Rusty Smith (3rd QB), Jamie Harper, Byron Stingily, Karl Klug, Zach Clayton, Colin Mccarthy, Tommie Campbell & Myron Rolle

    Maybe Mccarthy will make the 45 man active roster over Shaw but they seem to love Shaw on Special Teams.

    I think guys like Hawkins, Bailey, Schommer, Amato, Ittersagen, Kropog, Otto & Ratliff get cut.

    Ryan Mouton just carted off practice field with foot injury... could see Tommie Campbell move into the gameday roster.

    If it's bad, yeah, with Mouton placed on the PUP list.

    What do you think of my 45 though?

    I have a hard time finding anything I think might turn out differently. Pretty accurate, although as I mentioned in a previous thread somewhere, I wish we could see Myron Rolle make the active roster and contribute at some point. I also see a lot of DL on the active roster... wouldn't mind taking one of the 5 DEs off and putting Harper at RB, to give us a fresher rotation there. 3 active TEs is one too many too, no?

    I have a hard time believing we carry 2 QBs and 2 RBs.

    The thing about the 5 DE's is that they're all solid players. Jones & Morgan are the starters, Ball & Ford we're just resigned at 1.3 million/year, and both have had good careers here. Maybe Hayes will be cut/Practice Squad, but I can't see that either.

    And I think they'll carry the 4 DT's as well.

    I think all 3 TE's will be active as well. No way Cook/Stevens are cut or inactive, and Graham is making nearly 3 million a year. All 3 will certainly be active for different plays every week.

    Didn't we mainly carry 2 active RB's last year?

    Yes, but I didn't trust it and didn't like it then either. If CJ or Ringer get injured, we would be screwed. 3 RB is the way to go in today's NFL.

    It's a 46 man active roster, with no 3rd QB (inactive). So every QB has to on the active roster.
