How Bout' Verner?

    Thrown at 23 times, 8 completions for 118 yards, 4 INTs (T-1st in NFL), 0 TDs allowed, and 4 pass breakups.

    Allowing 12.9 QB Rating when opposing QBs throw in his direction. 1st in the NFL. Sherman has allowed 11 rec/165 yards at 21 targets w/ a 38.7 QB Rating, FYI.

    He's putting up elite stats, but we all know stats don't show the whole picture. Fact of the matter is, he doesn't get the publicity that other CBs do.. which will make him cheaper. It's that simple. Jurrell Casey is the same way, however in both there cases - they're starting to get attention.

    Thats all that come to mind, but yea he's nowhere near top 5 CB's, and thankfully, cause no way we can afford to pay a top 5 CB

    Yes keeping him is a big priority, and we better hope he doesn't believe he's top 5, otherwise he's leaving.

    I think your really reaching for at least half those.. putting mccourty on that list totally takes away any credibility you have in this


    okay okay maybe hes not top 5....yet but hes definitely on his way there and might just be there by seasons end. dudes balling hard and I don't expect a drop off at all I bet he gets a int from peyton

    Yea, if you're still claiming that McCourty is better than Verner, I don't know what will change your mind. I like McCourty too. Just sayin'.

    Well evidently me and the coaches share the same view on McCourty. Verner doesn't follow No.1 WR's like McCourty does this year.

    lol ok that's y I see him getting tds thrown to his receiver......deandre Hopkins anyone...

    im not hating j mac I like the dude think hes awesome but if I had to choose one of them for my team id take verner without eever really thinking twice about it

    ATV is a beast this year! I love how he is playing and bringing enthusiasm to this defense. The dline has a role in this too with the pressure they are bringing to the qb.
