    Hoge was somewhat right.

Best compliment ever given to the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans. I'm pretty sure the Spurs have 4 Championship banners hanging from the rafters, and I doubt if any of those players or management care about the PR for the NBA. Those guys work 5 times harder than anyone on this Titans team, they don't talk, they just play. The Titans would be smart to model themselves after the Spurs, great organization from the top down.

BTW, Popovich is the bizarro-Fisher, he says what he means and doesn't sugarcoat anything. He is sometimes looked at being brash and abrasive, but each and everyone of his players does exactly what they're supposed to do, and they have complete respect for Coach Pop. Something many people dislike about Fisher and see as being the reason the Titans haven't reached the pinnacle or been mentally-tough enough when it counts.

Other than that, who cares what Merrill Hodge said??? Are you Vince Young's mother? Do you feel the need to protect and defend anyone who gets talked about? I don't see anyone writing their Congressmen about the treatment Michael Griffin is getting:( Who cares? These guys are grown men, if they can't make their play speak for themselves, than I guess their play is speaking for themselves! Take the Red-media jersey off!

Who cares? ESPN is the FOX news of the sports world-do nothing but run off at the mouth without spending more than five minutes finding out what's true, what's false, and what opinions are valid. They just spout off, trying to outdo each other in yelling and being dramatic. I can't even watch ESPN more that ten minutes at a time without wanting to pound one of them.

Hodge was/is right. And he only knew what realists knew all along.

I WISH were the Spurs of the NFL. We may not be exciting like the Patriots or Colts but if it meant low Superbowl ratings and 3 or 4 titles, I'd take that in a second. But I see his point.

As for Hoge, I USED to hate this guy but after awhile I came around. I do think Young should have started in 07 and he did do a nice job so I'll disagree with him on that but other than that, he's been dead on.

How does it make a guy "scumbag" for having the opinion that one player is better than another?

By the way he goes about it.
If you, say, make a stupid arse post, and I want to let you know about it, would you rather me say something like:
"I disagree with what you said because of this and this.."

"You're a retard. Only retards make stupid statements like that, stay off this site."

Maybe when you guys understand the difference between construtive and destructive criticism, you'll understand.

Hoge may be right in the raw sense, but he's still a used douche-nozzle.

Except Hoge didn't insult Young, he just told the truth. Maybe one day you'll understand the difference between truth and hate.

I was delusional and hated Hoge for his first round of comments, but now I see the light.

He's right and the sooner our FO figures that out, the sooner we can move on to getting a real franchise QB.

It would also rid Titans' message boards of all these Texas clowns who want to see this team fail so their lover can get in the game.
