    They keep them away, might eat them. Not sure. They use them at the tennis to keep seagulls and other birds away.

    making pointy sticks is an ancient skill... good on you. Now all you need is some sharp rocks and you can take down any mammoths the Indians left in North America... oh well forget the mammoths those nature loving indians killed them all.

    What I really want to do is make my own snow like ski resorts do. I have the equipment but the conditions outside are never quite right to make it happen. The snow in the pic is natural but I'd like to keep the lawn covered so that circle of lights really looks like an ice rink
