    * Titans trade 2nd and 3rd round picks to New Orleans for the 24th pick.

Both drafts are ones I would like but the one I created for the Titans is what I think will happen on draft day, more or less. I would prefer mine, however, I could live with the other one.

After giving the draft much though, over the last couple of months, I still feel uneasy about this QB class. I don't feel there is a true franchise QB in the bunch so my apporach would be to sign a veteran free agent like Hasslebeck or Bulger and take our chances with Luck/Barkley next year. We could possibly trade for a QB after the draft and after a new CBA gets ironed out, like a Flynn if we can't seem to sign a decent FA. McElroy is one of the more ready to play QB's in this draft so if called upon I think he could see the field and keep things moving along. Ideally we throw a four year deal at Hasslebeck and have Rusty as our two, and McElroy as our three. We could conceivably have our pick of QB next year because I'm assuming that many of the other teams that need a QB will be drafting one high this draft.

Aldon Smith is my number two DE behind Quinn, but I feel Quinn will be off the board by eight.

Bruce Carter is a stud, plain and simple. If he weren't injured were talking a top 15 pick, so taking him in the 2nd would be a steal.

Gates will be a star in our offense, we'll finally have someone who can stretch the field not named "Stonehands Washington". Britt's douchebagger forced our hand here a bit, but I really love Gates regardless.

Anyway, what flavor do you like? Again, both of these drafts I'd be happy with, but I just don't want to try to address our QB situation for the long term this year in the draft.

I think you're being very optimistic (unrealistic might be a better description) if you think that Locker will be available at 24. I have a very hard time imagining him getting past the Redskins at #10.

Yeah, perhaps, it really is impossible to predict though. I think people who believe that there will be 5-6 first round quarterbacks taken are going to be in for a big surprise. This class just isn't good enough to warrant that many first rounders, I think the action this year takes place at the top of round two.

If we really want Locker, I think we'll have to take him at 8. I'd loooooove the second draft if it happened tho

For a small fee of $39.99 I can give you the whole 1st round mock draft and how it will play out.
