Haynesworth!

    Another year, and more discussion about Albert.

    It appears we offered a mid range draft pick for him last year, the skins wanted a 2nd rounder. It also appears he is ready to go to training camp this year, which is nice of him.

    Anyway I reckon we should offer a 4th/5th for him or possible trade for him. He would fit well with what Gray is wanting to do here. The contract for him is hilarious, and would add some much needed mass up front. I like most others think that JJ is gonna be a demon at DE this year. I like the look of Casey and Marks as back up's for Brown and AH, with Morgan and Jones at the Ends.

    I only want Haynesworth IF he's released. Sure he was given a big bonus in 2010, but he's still due for some money. Here's the year-by-year breakdown:

    2011: 5,400,000
    2012: 6,700,000
    2013: 29,000,000
    2014: 10,300,000
    2015: 11,500,000

    Do you really want to pay $29 million for the guy in 2013? Nope. It's likely he'll get released, then once he does, we go for him then.

    I'd love to have Big Al back. He wouldn't have to play every down and he's great for wrecking ish when you need to shut things down. If he was released I'd love the pickup. I wouldn't want to have to pay out his current contract though.

    So if he's released, yes.

    How much of that is guraunteed? i thought it was only 3.4m next year.
    If that is still his deal than yeah wait till free agency.

    Jesse thats a matter of opinion, I watched him very closely last season when I could, the man is one of the most powerful lineman still playing, if he's fitter this year than last year then yeah I'll take him.
