haynesworth might be the highest paid defensive player

    ....i would too..b/c lets face it haynes is not at all a risk....he doenst have a rep of getttin injured....nor does he have any temper problems....and he's not at all lazy either....ohhh wait....


    any fan of this team should be critical of haynes....they know how frustrating and wildly inconsistent he can be....no he shouldn't get a fat contract unless its incentive/performance based.....keep him hungry


    ....however even in sayin this....i will be more pissed than anyone if he is not on our roster come next season.....b/c truth is he is the best DT in football right now and fortifies the best right side of any defense (him, KVB, and bulluck)

    What we know..

    Haynesworth, even the pre-07 haynesworth is our best DT. He is also the best run stopping lineman we have. He has always been a good player! Don't let our expectations or how we think he should be playing interfere with reality. This is a good player and well worth the $7M a year cap hit it would cost to keep him for most of the rest of his career.
