Saints and Titans on Monday Night Football. I wish they were playing the game here in Nashville.
To be truthful, I was dissapointed when Vinnie told me the odds were Titans +4.5. I though the Titans had made a name for themselves the past two weeks. I figured us to be the favorite in the game.
First off, most times the home team is given 3 pts because of homefield advantage. I can see that.
Guidos' outlook is that the Saints are a playoff team that is playing with their heads up their arses. "They have to do something and they have to do it NOW". First home game on Monday Night Football.
Vinnie, "Expect a fired up Saints team". I wouldn't be expecting less.
I really don't mind the spread, it means nothing to the NFL, just the bookies. I'm wondering what it takes to get respect. What is it that the Titans have to do to get people to beleive in them? The Titans have won 9 of their last 13 games, that's not bad.
It is my opinion that if the Titans jump on the Saints quick, it'll take the fire out of them.

We don't match up well with them unfortunately. They have a god-awful secondary, but we just aren't a robust passing team with Vince right now. They have lots of dynamic weapons on offense, against a secondary that isn't built to stop it.

That said, they've looked ABYSMAL so far, so I hope we can run them over on Monday.

So.....two teams with bad secondarys going head to head. Who's offense is better? Which team can establish a running game against the other? Which team can pressure the others QB? I still think it all points to the Titans.

I don't think the Titans' offense is better. They may have shown more so far this year, but the Saints definitely have the ability to be a better offense.

They haven't shown it. Maybe that's what Guido is talking about.

I say we run into a buzzsaw in a team that is due to bust out on offence. And, one that will be playing in front of their home crowd for the first time this year.

I've said it before, the Saints are a team that feeds off of energy in a big way. There's going to be a lot of energy in that dome on monday. The titans need to come out strong and make a statement to quiet it down.
