Rumor Gronk may retire

How many concussions has Gronk had?

Anything more than 3 and yea I can't blame anyone who walks away, in fact I'd encourage it. Football isn't worth your wellbeing long term, ESPECIALLY after you've already made a fortune

 

My understanding is Gronk pretty much lives off his endorsement deals and saves and invests the salary. Sounds pretty smart to me.

 

I don’t listen to anything a player says within moments of losing a big game.

 

Curious to know if the new concussion protocols are actually making andiffer nice towards CTE. Even if gronk has had a couple concussions, due to waiting to be cleared and not immediately risking another one, he may not be experiencing the long term issues the same.

Aside, he's had a career already with nothing left to prove. Guy is a monster in the field, has a handful of SB rings and is among the all time greats in stats over a shorter career. I wouldn't blame him for passing on responsibilities to indulge on the frat boy partying, he has money already.

It really doesn't matter how dumb he may be either, one of the networks would be likely to use his persona for something. I honestly can't look at all the personalities on any sports show currently and say that gronk has no shot. But he could probably also find a spot on like the home remodeling channel or something.

 

I tend to agree with this, but Gronk lives in the training room

I could easily see him walking away early

 

Not only concussions, he's had other injuries... probably doesn't want to live his retired life****ed up mentally or physically.

He probably should retire but I don't think that he will

 

He could be the best TE of all time if he kept playing. Wouldn’t blame him though if he wanted to be done. Probably feels like he’s been ran over by an Amtrak train every morning getting out of bed.

 

I'm hearing there is a lot of speculation going that the Pats are in for HUGE changes.
