The negativity is starting at an all-time early point in the off-season this year. Usually its the first hour of free agency...

Look at the draft class for safeties and look at the free agents for safeties. Now look at the draft class for CBs and the free agents for CBs. Now you get why we're renting Griffin for one year and letting the most overrated player on this board walk.

Keeping Griffin sends an awful message. It says; if you show no heart, you might get to come back if there's not many better options".

I know it's "hard to find good help" but Griffin isn't good help, he's a liability like Hope was in 2010.

The real loser in all of this is Verner. That poor guy is going to be targeted sooo much next season. He's gonna hate playing on the left side with Griffin.

Look at the top four safeties that would have hit the market; Tyvon Branch, Dashon Goldson, Michael Griffin and Reggie Nelson. Two of the three non-Titans were franchised and Nelson isn't an upgrade and definitely not an upgrade for the long-term. I get what everyone is saying about Griffin, and NO ONE was harder on him during the season for getting trucked-sticked than me, but he really is the best option for 2012, barring someone coming out of nowhere to have a career season.

Yea yea, i know all about that, but he's GOING to cost us TD's. I CANT support that one bit.

I dread hearing him say "he's 221 pounds, how am I suppose to stop that", or "I didn't see any balls".

Look at what you guys have reduced me to. I'm the one defending Griffin.

This has been one stressful off season

I see no one has mentioned my sack of potatoes. I mean, it takes up part of the field and someone may trip over it. I mean, I expect the same thing of it as I do Griffin. Plus they are cheap, unless you go organic but lets not kid ourselves, this is a Bud Adams run team.

I honestly would not be surprised if he lurks online.

I mean, he is pretty soft emotionally, and he has been getting torn up across multiple forums. I bet he saw somethings and he does not want to be here.

Any chance Griff is a non-exclusive franchise player? Cause if he is, and someone is dumb enough to sign him, we could get a 1st round pick.

He ABSOLUTELY lurks online. He's called me out a few times on facebook and twitter for criticizing him.
