I've said numerous times yet you still don't get it. I couldn't care less who a person is off the field. I only judge the person on the field and how he plays.

Thats how I am for the most part, if a guy can't cut it on the field then get him out. But if he's dumb as rocks, which for this is the case, Ill pass on the headaches.

This sounds all well and good. But how's that worked out for us in the past? In some cases the off-the-field guy affects the on-the-field guy.

Also, it's a bit different if you're talking about a WR or something. I don't mind taking a gamble every once in awhile on a position like that. But I want no part of a QB with questionable character. That guy is supposed to be the face of your franchise and the leader of the team.

He could be the dumbest person ever, but if he produces like Peyton on the field then who cares!

Being good off the field doesn't relate to being a good leader on the field. Some players just know how to motivate and get the best of his teammates. Even VY was good at that.

You need to look at it this way. The majority of players on offense are made up of ppl who are not that intelligent. Therefore when you get a QB who can relate with them, they know how to motivate them more.

    what.....?

OL are generally considered the most intelligent outside of QB. between OL and QB is more than half the O. TEs need to know enough to play "OT" as well as "WR" and they are generally considered one of the smartest groups on the team also. That only leaves RB/FB& WR granted none of those positions require a mensa IQ but you cant be stupid and play WR. So really the only position on O that a marginal intelligence guy could/should handle would be RB

Yea defense is generally where most of the idiots are.

Also, you can be a real life idiot but have a high football IQ... which is the case for very many players.
