I agree that the coaching staff should not be gutted, but what would have helped was having a coach that could've dialed up something, anything to help us make plays. Smith didn't do a good job of that today. Maybe he will do better next year.

And don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying they are future Hall of Fame coaches.

Especially on defense. I’m not a fan of always rushing 3 or seeing multiple 3rd and forever being converted for first downs or worse, tds. Maybe some of that has to do with personnel? That they don’t think we have the players to play a certain way or something? If we had a top 5 defense, we’d be a true contender.

Yep totally agree. KC had our number today. Our defense was gassed the whole game. I still dont care too much for the routes and formations.

The offense was way too conservative. We ran the ball at a higher clip on first down then everyone else. The team got away with it because was Henry was historically great and so was the redzone offense after the 2-4 start. On the flip side, that conservatism was responsible in part for the 2-4 start

My hope is that next season the offense is opened up more. My fear is Vrabel doubles down on the conservative philosophy

The haters here are all the same haters that do nothing but hate, on this website. They don’t understand football. They talk a tough game, and act like they know more than anyone. Just a bunch of dummies. All of you. (Haters). The Chiefs offense is the best in the game today, we should not be upset about losing to this offense. The defense did a great job. Limiting this Chiefs offense is an extremely tall task. I will agree that the offensive play calling was questionable at best today. However, he got us passed the Patriots and the Ravens, which was no easy feat. I think every other coach and position played well today. Fire Arthur immediately... No. Strongly evaluate his play calling and learn from it moving into next season? Yes. This is the best season we’ve had in almost 2 decades. The majority of the people posting on this website are hacks and don’t understand sports in general, much less football specifically. It’s live and learn, not live and fire to get someone else. Fire and replace when absolutely necessary only. Get real people.

Yeah. It's funny how in the space of 7 days, we go from "long live king arthur and the knights of the round table" to fire him immediately.

Yeah, the coaching staff was brilliant in the Wild Card and Divisional rounds.

Things kind of fell apart today, but I don't know how much of that was the coaches and how much of that was the players.

Arthur Smith has been the best offensive coordinator we've had since...

    … since...

    … um...

I feel like Smith's inexperience showed some in the game. He panicked a little bit and went away from what has gotten us here. It is what it is, you live and learn.

I have been saying all season that I cant wait for next season. I expect us to be GOOD. Not slipping into the playoffs good, but actually playing for homefield advantage good.
