Andrews deserves this role plain and simple.

I rather see Sankey though give him a chance to have 18+ carries a game and I'm sure he will surprise us.I hate how fans give up on all early picks give them touches and Targets first(NOT JUST PLAYS) and them give up on them.

But with this Oline all of our RBs ---WRs-----QBs----are (F'word!!!)

Andrews "deserves" this role?... Uh. No.

Andrews put himself in a great position to get playing time- which honestly probably was a long-shot in his eyes to begin with.

Anything else is just a bonus at this point.

I like Andrews, but he's no feature back. You don't sit a better back just because he's put in work.

I'm pretty sure any of our backs can get the job done if they got 15+ carries. Sankey looked good to start the year and then got Whiz'd. DMC has gotten good production in the right situations, Andrews has the lowest ypc of all of them. West looked pretty real last year, but we don't know bc he got Whiz'd too.

I would agree with your statement most of the time. But, in this particular situation no rb on our team has shown they can carry the load. West was given a chance and fumbled twice. Sankey has been given chances and did some good, some bad. Dmc, we all know he's a good player but only in a rotational role. Cobb, he was drafted, that's it. Andrews does "deserve" one look at a full workload, if he fails we'll know what we have. Im not against changing our "feature" back every week. We just need to know for sure these rbs role in the future. But, andrews has proven as much if not more than every rb on our roster. In this case, he "deserves" a shot. Watch him blow up and change your tune. I do agree that in the end he'll be a change of pace type guy, not a feature back, but who knows, let him show it.

While those points are valid, I must bring up Trent Richardson, who lead the Browns in yardage and TDs his rookie season as well before being traded to the Colts the following year.

Sometimes players do indeed just suck. And that Titans aren't exactly the greatest evaluators of talent. I mean we have probably spent near 100 million on the OL over the last 3 or 4 years, only to continually have a bad OL.

New HC would be wise to say everybody:

"You all have a clean slate with me. You play like you practice. Right now, because we a game Sunday, Andrews is our lead back. We'll see who wants it most in practices moving forward. Make plays with your opportunities and you get more opportunities. MY system is to simply out score the opponent. I need players who make that happen. My responsibility is put players in the best situations to make that happen. MY goal is to make EVERY team we play know they are going to feel sore Monday morning."

The more I think about it Whiz was douche for "dog-housing" players yet he way he did. (That's me not what Mularkey should say).

I think he did just that in the first practice.

He said the slate was clean. He was going to play whoever was the most productive. Time to step it up. Be physical. Etc.

Typical coach-speak. We all love hearing it but I don't see it as easy as flipping a switch with the lack of talent the Titans have in too many areas. But we'll see. I hope he pushes the right buttons.

I hope he really gives Sankey another shot. He wasn't bad when the line was good. If we're actually setting up some decent blocking schemes, I think we'll se the much better Sankey.

Our run game sucked because our OL personnel simply couldn't win the 1 on 1's. And Whiz was too damn stubborn to admit it and adjust.
