I tried. I made a thread called "Cut Bait on 8." TJ deleted it within five seconds, but somehow this one got to 44 pages.

Waaah, Mariota has had a few games where costly fumbles or picks have lost us the game, lets get rid of him like he's the plague. Despite the fact that the kid has completed 61% of his passes, has 45 TDs vs 19 INTs.

Have some of y'all forgotten about his redzone stats? 65% completion, 30 TDs, 0 INTs, 2 sacks. That is nuts. The kid's character is exactly who you want leading your franchise. And he's done all of this with sketchy coaching and average weapons around him.

Those costly fumbles are frustrating, I get it. But keep it in perspective. We're blessed to have Marcus.

It's the redzone stats that make him impressive, any QB can play well between the 20's. In the redzone things speed up, plus he seems like a kid that wants to get better. Looking forward to Mariota, Davis, Henry and Smith growing together. They all seem to be cut from the same cloth.
