Some guys stay out a month or longer. Luke Kuechly missed multiple games with a concussion on a couple different occasions.

The Ravens have the 30th ranked run defense. I wonder if we can finally take advantage of another team’s weakness, or same old story and they shut down our run game.

Anytime before the concussion protocol was put in place players started suing the league for getting multiple concussions, he probably goes back in. haha

Contrary to what sports reporters would have you believe, there's no such thing as a "severe concussion". A concussion is a concussion, it's just a medical description of losing consciousness for 60 minutes or less. People have different recovery rates after a concussion, though. Some people show symptoms for a couple days, some people show symptoms for 8 weeks.

I don't think the concussion protocol takes into consideration their position on the field, though? It doesn't matter if you take 1 hit or 50, any jarring hit while recovering from a concussion will lengthen the recovery period and result in "second impact" syndrome, which is way more severe than a concussion ... sometimes people never fully heal from "second impact" (see "punch drunk" boxers).
