Game 3 Grades: Texans @ Titans

    SUMMARY: In week three, the Titans(2-0) were visited by the Texans(0-1) with a lot on the line in regards to the AFC South standings, especially with the Colts and Jaguars meeting in Indianapolis.

    Let's take a look at the grades.

    Quarterback: B-
    Jacques Reeves intercepted Kerry Collins' first pass and had a shot at another one on the next drive, but other than those two throws Collins was stable at QB, with exception of a few high throws in the second half. He also seemed to channel Vince Young with a couple of surprising scrambles to keep drives alive.

    Collins would be the last person you would expect to run the ball. That is why it was so successful each time.

    exactly. the DEs that were supposed to have contain on those two plays were too busy trying to fight through blocks and locate the runner.

    Dear phil montana..

    One knee= 2 feet in bounds according to nfl rules.

    Mccareins had his left knee hit down first. It was a good call and justin gave us a good game.

    Without that catch and moronic coaching by the texans we could have lost this game.

    We shut down Super Mario. That was huge for us. Finny and Griff also played great, and we are not going to lose games when our D plays that well in the 2nd half.

    Yeah I don't know how that wasn't challenged.

    Secondary should be A, they lose a point for Griffin getting trucked by Slaton.

    Okay okay it was his right knee and he didn't get it in but why bash a guy for a play that counted?


    I wonder what grade griffin would give to steve slaton. slaton owned him sunday.

    Our o-line grade.

    Stewart did an A+ job but i am concerned about our interior guys. They are not creating many holes for lendale in the inside running game.
