Pre-Game Thread Game 1: Titans @ Dolphins

Another year of hoping this team is better week 1 than they have looked in preseason. It’s been a while since that were the case. Last time was when they beat the crap out of the bucs in 2015. Everyone got excited. Then we went 3-13.

90 percent chance of a close win/loss by 3.
10 percent chance that we exceed expections, but that may or may not mean anything for the rest of the season.

Just going to go out, have a few beers and enjoy cheering for my team. We should know if we have a decent team by week 5 or 6.

 

I'm guessing that the fact that Malcolm Butler was getting toasted during the joint practice with the bucs and through out the preseason, is giving them a sense of false security lol

Well that just sucks ...

 

It’s gonna be a tough game! I think we win, but like I said, 17-14. It won’t be a gimme. We have a tendency to make bad QB’s look good, and we will have kinks to work out. We are also banged up with Conk, Landry, and Morgan out...and Matthews rusty.

 

Well this is one way to deploy your 53 man roster..

Dolphins go into Week 1 with 4 QBs, 5 RBs, 6 WRs, 4 TEs and 8 OL. Going heavy offense with 27 on that side for now. Dolphins going with just 23 defenders.

 

Shut down Drake and then the fun begins. Mariota gonna feel that sunshine and think he’s in Hawaii. Our D gonna give em hell. We win by 10.

 

Every year we play Miami.

One of the more frustrating losses last year was that one @ Miami with Matt Cassel under center. That Delanie Walker TD called back on a bs call and Miami went on to win it.

Can literally see this outcome going either way. Titans are the better team on paper but it’s their home opener and ya just never know...

Either way my friend is a huge Dolphin fan, going to head to his place, pop open a cold one on his couch and pray he doesn’t still have bragging rights.
