ugh.

 

The jones trade was money for the pats. jones coming up on a huge contract they can't sign, moved him for a second rounder (fire power to get their replacement) and a declining G who could turn it around for the pats... Got out while the getting was good.

 

Reggie Nelson, Donald Penn, & Andre Smith are all still available. I'd be on the phone with their agents, all older but still have productive years ahead of them, imo.

 

Jaguars had a solid offseason on paper.. adding: Malik Jackson, Prince Amukamara, Tashaun Gipson was legit. Plus, Ivory-Yeldon is a solid duo. Beachum, if healthy, is one of the better tackles in the league.. and they get Fowler back this year. Jags might actually be decent next year... nooo

 

Sean Spence visiting Wednesday according to Arias

Nick Fairley visiting the Patriots. We're running out of options if we really want to upgrade the DL in FA. If Fairley signs with the Pats that pretty much leaves only Knighton.

How we haven't grabbed him by now is beyond me. He is legit better than Sammie Lee Hill.

Get us depth. Even if we go NT in the draft, at least we have options.
