Freak Continues to Get Plenty of Playing Time

    SUMMARY: When Jevon Kearse returned to the Titans, the talk was he would only be a situational pass rusher. So far this season, he's been much more than that and may presently be the healthiest defensive lineman the Titans have. "I’ve been playing around 40 to 45 snaps a game, which is pretty decent," Kearse said. "They’d probably want me to play a little less but I don’t think I can do that. I want to jump out there as much as I can, just to get better." So far, Kearse has 17 tackles, including 10 solo stops and 1.5 sacks to go with six QB pressures. "His numbers are a little higher than what we thought. But he’s playing well," Coach Jeff Fisher said. "He’s strong and he’s not having any issues."

    Nothing wrong with that, Kearse has certainly helped the D be what it is....QB pressures often lead to the QB getting rattled and throwing picks......and some of you guys around here didnt want him back :(

    I'd still rather have Odom or Laboy over Kearse. They've put up more sacks.

    and I guarantee we lose Haynesworth next year and we STILL won't pick up anyone who can contribute significantly

    Ooh. He cost a million. HUGE waste of money.
    I don't think we will. I think Haynesowrth will get a very nice deal from us. Odom and LaBoy are just role players, who got massively overpaid.
