Once again, with this. You're right. I bet there are TONS of attractive women willing to find out if average joe is right for them by getting to know them. :sarcasm:
It's understood that most relationships only last when both see past physical attraction - however, most relationships START with physical attraction, not personality.

As for creatine and whey, they never have done anything for me. And I eat constantly. Usually every 3 hours. 2 PBJs before bed @ 3 am too.

Guys who can actually pull hot girls don't go on gotitans and brag about it. And good looking intelligent girls over the age of 20 care more about what you're doing with your life than if you're roiding up for her.

    I'm curious...

You make a lot of 'interesting' statements.

If you can 'pull' models weighing 142lbs and have a partner who'd take you even if you melted your face, who are you taking the steroids for? Yourself or to get looks from other women since you're saying it's not important to your partner...?

Please explain how any steroid is safer than asperin.

And what's your point about relationships starting with the physical if you 'got' your partner while you were 142lbs (and I'm guessing you're on the shorter side)? Physical attraction is frequently less about having a perfectly buff body and more to do with your looks (face/smile) and personality. And if it's the personality that's most important to long term success, why are you so interested in bulking up?

And your statement about steroids NOT helping you in sports is ridiculous. It making you stronger and faster means you'll be a better football player for sure. Does that mean you'll be a GOOD football player? No. But your performance will certainly increase. And look at a player like Bonds. He was a Hall of Fame player who didn't hit that many home runs. On the juice he broke records. Your claim doesn't make sense and can be factually proven false.

And BTW, you don't see a ton of guys over 40 in great shape because they (and there partners) have matured to know that there are more important things in life...like there children and spending quality time with each other and as a family.

One last thing...if you're a hard gainer, you aren't helping yourself by eating 2 pbj's before bed or at 3am. That's mostly carbs which doesn't help you build muscles while you're sleeping and i'm guessing you're not on natural peanut butter either. Also, using steroids to jumpstart a workout program is about the worst thing you can do since it generally takes about 6 weeks for your tendons and ligaments to 'catch up' so the fact that you can lift more means you're at greater risk for damaging them.

It sounds like you're juicing for your own vanity and risking your health in return. And it's interesting that you play flag football and are juicing...

I'd guess you think athletes should be able to juice (since you think it's safe and doesn't really improve performance) or do you think they should get the book thrown at them?

Anybody who says they are not vain is full of butter biscuits. We ALL are vain. How we express it is a reflection of our self esteem.

Gloat is no better or worse than any of us in that regard. This thread has indeed been blown off topic but it is a very important subject.

Gut- you have outstanding and very logical insights and counterpoints to Gloat's line of reasoning.

Most guys that roid are 2 parts confused, 2 parts motivated, 2 parts addictive/egocentric personality and 4 parts good. I have never met a guy over 40 who said he was glad he used steroids. I'm sure some pro athletes who parlayed the use into substantial cash would say they don't, but I've never met them.

Most average guys don't realize the pyschological weakening that occurs with steroids, particularly how they destroy a persons self confidence in the long term by creating a sense of helplessness to meet their fitness goals without them.

Folks are better off without them. Strong for life.

Apparently the NFL must have some sort of proof, because they wouldn't make known their allegations based on heresay alone

    Well...

They did ban Pacman for a year before finding out the 'truth' of what happened in Vegas and mostly based on a # of arrests...not convictions.

Meanwhile, a certain ex-Chief DE got his sentence (banned for 4 games I think) reduced to 2 games even though he'd been proven guilty of 2 DWI's within one year (if memory serves).

I'm sure Goodell thinks a guy rolling over on his clients (even though the guy is not the best witness...especially being dead) is good enough. It'll be interesting to see where the NFLPA comes in on this one since it'll be a hard case to prove without some obvious textmsg saying something like I need another case of the 'vitamins' wink wink nudge nudge no what I mean?

In fact, how do you prove he took a steroid if he's been tested clean? Unless they have real evidence of him supplying someone else but the gist of the article implies he took them to earn his contract with the Titans.

Anyway you look at this it's a slippery legal slope. I don't think the word of a dead drug smuggler and supplier will be enough. They'll need something Fowler said or texted I think.

And if I were Fowler (assuming I'm not using), I'd volunteer to be tested right now to 'prove' my innocence. I could then make the claim that even up to this moment I've never failed a drug test.
