Five Titans Selected to All-Pro Team

Congrats. Four All-Pros is an accomplishment.

 

Hey, it's more recognition than our team has gotten in a long time. Kind of nice. Not as nice as a win tomorrow though...

 

Stewart is 2nd team all-pro. Most teams would kill to have our tackles. The FO doesn't get enough credit for locking them both up longterm at a good price.

 

Congrats on the 4 Tennessee.

I'd like to note that the only unanimous all-pro selection was Mr. Ed Reed.

 

Awesome, Awesome!! Finally we get some recognition.

 

I'm smiling from ear to ear. Hopefully I'll be doing the same tomorrow.

 

SUMMARY: Five Titans were named to the Associated Press NFL All-Pro team on Friday. Named to the first team were T Michael Roos, C Kevin Mawae, DT Albert Haynesworth and CB Cortland Finnegan. Haynesworth received 49 of a possible 50 votes. "It’s definitely and honor to be selected again. I appreciate it and it a great honor. I look forward to keep trying to make it," Haynesworth said. "To be named one of the top two defensive tackles in the league by sportswriters and media is awesome. I guess my hard work is paying off, and people are recognizing that now." T David Stewart was named to the second team. He was the only one of the five not selected to the Pro Bowl.

This a truly amazing day. For Finnegan to be chosen one of the top 2 CBs in the entire NFL is incredible. Roos is one of the best two OTs. Stewart getting named 2nd team means we by far have the best set of OTs in football. Too bad Mawae is hurting but what a signing he was... A day to be proud.... Now go out and destroy the pansy Ravens.

 

In this week's SI, Peter King (world's leading douchebag) actually said that Roos has replaced Walter Jones as the best LT in the game.

It's 12 months too late, but the recognition is finally there.
