You're gonna believe whatever you wish to believe so there's no point in arguing. You can say Irsay is saving face and I can say I couldn't care less. So... Cool story.... Bro? Lol

He was paid roughly $4 million to go away.

St. Louis and Miami were the only teams to show interest. The Raiders are looking for a head coach. The Raiders!

We may be a bunch of message board yahoos, but at least we're familiar with Fisher's work. Do you really have to tout us with the credibility of teams who have made a string of terrible coaching hires?

hmm who has more credibility...Jim Irsay or Bob Kravitz...

If he was interested in Fisher don't you think he would have fired Caldwell earlier?

I'm only 25 years old, have never coached a football team more than a few weeks, and what I can't fathom is how a fully grown man like Jeff Fisher can't realize it's not what he knows, but what his players know that takes a coach the distance.

He can have a multi-million dollar contract, and all the experience in the world, but if his players are unresponsive to him (how they were) or unprepared because he's too full of himself to loosen up the reins, then he's going to lose. Fisher is too much a control freak to compete in the NFL anymore. He'd be great at the college level because his way is so structured, but in todays NFL, he's a dinosaur and outmatched by more modern philosophies.

    It's really just that simple.

If you're a fan who chooses to follow Fisher, you'll be retiring soon as a fan.

Irsay has no reason to lie. If he wanted Fisher he would have actually tried to get him. The first step to that is the fire Caldwell straight away.

The Experts were so dead on Tennessee wining the super bowl the year it was held in Houston before the season started. The experts knew Dick Vermiel was going to get to a super bowl with the chiefs in his 3rd year!....oops.
The experts knew Steve Spurrier was going to do great things for the Redskins...oops.

They KNEW Bucs were going to repeat in 2003. Oops. Rams owner knew they were winning a second Super Bowl so She had a special rings already made and ordered and displayed the double fingered ring. Except they lost to the Pats. OOPS! Oh plus the expert refs "knew" the tuck was no fumble. :grrhee:

    Yeah the so called "experts"
