    Hey! Let me try this!

Despite him being one of the highest paid coaches in the league, the Tennessee Titans, a billion dollar franchise, fired Jeff Fisher knowing they would still have to pay out the remaining year of his contract.

    Man, he must suck.

The only reason Mullet Man is regarded as a quality coach is because of the media and fellow NFL coaches. They all like him because he is a master at brown-nosing. Anybody who has listened to one of his press conferences will probably agree. Some people are easily fooled. :kissass:

That and the fact that actual quality experienced coaches made themselves all unavailable. I know this just seems like a bitter Fisher bashfest, but it's the truth. Gruden, Cowher, and Dungy go looking for a job, and Fisher doesn't even get a sniff. He for damn sure doesn't get to pull leverage between two clubs. Mike Mularkey found a HC gig.

    Mike Mularkey...

Your point would be relevant if it were true that the front office wanted Fisher gone. It didn't. This was a decision made by Adams alone.

Meanwhile, the organizations of St. Louis, Miami, Jacksonville, and Indianapolis all approached Fisher. The opinions of professionals from four franchises - contrast that with the opinion a single, bitter old man. And a bunch of message board yahoos.

Indy did not approach fisher. They even came out and denounced that idea all together. Get your facts right.

The Indianapolis owner came out and said that isn't true.
Jacksonville didn't look at Fisher. Fred Taylor wanted him.

Bob Kravitz of the Indy Star reported that the Colts were interested. He has a ton of sources. Why didn't Irsay announce he wasn't interested in Fisher before? Seems funny he makes that statement after Fisher inks with St. Louis. Sounds like face saving to me.
