The next good coach that comes available. Would you rather shake things up a bit or be okay with what we've had the past 16 years?

it's awesome how "the rest of the NFL" or talking heads think Fisher is so great...

but every year predict the Titans to finish 4th in the AFC south.

Some things just don't add up. They only think he's a good coach because they HEARD he was.

The next good coach that comes available? Now that's effing brilliant.

I'd rather consistently field a solid team who has a chance to make the playoffs every year and with the right breaks win the super bowl instead of hiring the next Butch Davis or Romeo Crennell.

This is such a lame defense. Of course we can't come up with an available name who is 100% definitely better than Fisher. But like Burner said, do we just keep rolling with the same mediocrity or do we take a chance? Me, I'd much rather roll the dice on some new blood. If he doesn't work out, so what? We don't win a Lombardi trophy, just like we haven't been with Fisher anyway. If Fisher's replacement sucks... fire him and move on to the next guy. Just because you don't have a sure-fire superstar coach waiting in the wings doesn't mean you gotta stick with the same old guy who isn't getting it done, year after year.... after year... after year... after year.... after year........

If you don't have any suggestions on how to fix the "problem" and who would do a better job then what is the point of b***ing about it?

So you would rather stick with Fisher and know we will never win a super bowl? We should want to do better than just make the playoffs.

The suggestion is to TRY A FREAKING NEW COACH. Geez. If you aren't getting the results you want you try something else. Simple as that. Fisher hasn't got the results we've wanted in 15 freaking years. Could JF's replacement be the next Jim Zorn? Yes. Could he be the next Bill Belichick? YES. The point is we know what we have in Fish. A slightly above-average coach who has a record of coming up short when it counts the most. Do you keep sticking with a guy like that simply because "we could do worse"? That kind of attitude is absolutely ridiculous (assuming your ultimate goal is to win a championship).

I don't see how going with Fisher guarantees us not winning the super bowl.

All you can ask for is to get into the playoffs and have some breaks go your way. I'm sure Sean Payton was the reason Brett Favre and Peyton Manning threw those INTs late in the games to seal their victories. I'm sure Bill Cowher, who was a Fisher Clone until he won a Super Bowl(about 15 years in to his career), was the reason Nick Harper decided to run directly into Ben Roethlisberger or made Bill Levy make some absolutely horrible calls in the Super Bowl against the Seahawks.

If you go back to EVERY Super Bowl champion you can pick out a handful of plays that went their way in the playoffs that propelled them to the top. Those plays have gone against us so far. John Simon fumbling the kickoff against the Raiders. Drew Bennett dropping the fourth down pass against the Pats. Pretty much everything against the Ravens.

Hey, if you want to be like the Browns or the Bills and hire a new coach every three years, that's fine. Changing Systems and trying to find the players to fit that system is just so easy.
