A little while ago, I thought I'd look through my entire time as a Titans fan (a shorter time in my case, dating back to 2002), and pick out my favourites. Some of these guys have since fallen out of favour, but I looked at it on a basis of who I liked the most at the time, if you get what I mean.

Since my Titans' fandom is in a state of relative infancy, it lacks some of the perennial all-time greats, but I still think it's kinda interesting. Rather than clog up the thread with my reasons, I'll just link to my blog at each position, where I've got a (mostly crappy) summary of each.

The only rule I set for myself was that I had to have been a fan during their playing days (so obviously, no old-school Oilers), and since I wasn't paying a whole lot of attention when I first started, guys like Wycheck just miss the mark.

KVB, Cortland Finnegan, and Tony Brown just represent what we're all about to me: tough-nosed hard workers, guys who focus on immaculate technique, who hone their craft, who take five years of greatness to get the recognition they deserve. Underdogs and overachievers.

Steve, Eddie and Keith are all my overall favorite Titans. They were tough as sh!+ and all had a ton of heart and genuinely love the game. It felt like I lost a cousin or uncle when Steve got killed, the 4th of July will always be a bittersweet time of year for me.

Others I liked but their status is ruined by staying too long (Steve, Eddie, etc).

Just realized it's all defensive players. Odd. I was a DB in school + WR but always favor WRs/Speedy Offensive guys typically.
