Falcon's crazy move...

One of the dumbest trades I've ever seen. Why can't stupid teams offer us trades lilke that, I bet Holmgren was laguhing his butt off. This trade is only 2nd in stupidity to the Hershal Walker trade.

I really like Julio Jones but on at team that already has Roddy White who, by the way, will be expecting a huge pay day really soon, a 2nd stud receiver is just not needed. They would have been better served getting a pass rusher in round one and a receiver in round 2, hell what about Edmund Gates in round 3? Wow, the Faclons are idiots.

 

Mike Ditka's boner for Ricky Williams takes the cake.

 

You guys are absolutely nuts to say Atlanta is dumb for this trade. Balance the field with 2 great wide outs, then shove Turner down their throat. I'd be thrilled with that move if I were a Falcons fan. A 13-3 team just took a step closer to 15-1.

Didn't they give up like 50 points to the Packers in the playoffs? Unless Jones can score 4 TD's by himself or play corner it was not a good decison.

 

And Matt Ryan gets hurt in the 1st game of the regular season and the Falcons go 3-13. They have the 1st overall pick in 2012... OH WHOOPS, traded it away.

BUT as much as I nailed Julio as a sure bust, if there's one offense he could become decent in, this is it.

I do wonder how long it takes Ryan to stop trusting him though when he drops pass after pass.

 

even if Jones ends up playing well i think the Falcons gave up way way too much.

 

the Cleveland Browns will end up benefitting big time from the extra picks.
