Expect more Slaton

Good news if you like Houston running back Steve Slaton.

With Chris Taylor likely out with a serious thigh bruise, Ahman Green will be second in line in the backfield Sunday against the Colts. But coach Gary Kubiak said the Texans are not going to pull Slaton out just to get Green chances. He spoke of Slaton by his number, 20.

"Twenty is a hard guy to get off the field right now," he said. "We thought we were going to split time with him and Chris but he won't come off the field, and that's a good thing.

So, he'll do whatever he feels like he can handle, 20, and then Ahman will take the rest of it. Obviously it will be good for our team if we can get him going."
