Earl Bennett - WR Vandy

i love how he doesn't run out of bounds.

 

yeah, at one point he was trying to drag an entire defense too, and doing a pretty good job. He's got fire.

 

Actually, I would prefer Earl Bennett over any other reciever in this draft, simply because we probably wouldn't have to spend a first rounder to get him. Jackson and Manningham both would most likely require us taking them in the first, and I think in a draft that seems to be loaded at reciever, we have other needs that could be addressed in the first round.

 

Ike hilliard is the guy who comes to mind when watching bennett play. Not spectacular but could be a solid producer.

NFL draft scout has his projected 40 time at 4.52 and they rate him 10th among WR prospects and that is only among the prospects that they know are coming out. He could fall as far as the 4th rd.

I prefer we focus much of our draft on the o-line and our defense but among the WRs i like the big guys like kelly-hardy-monk..

Colston is 6'4" 231 lbs. Bennett is 6'1" 202 lbs.

marcus monk is staying at arkansas for his senior year. A good move because a good year can put him in the first rd. He was injured a lot in 07..

 

This draft is thin on very big and very fast Wrs and not any guy who are also big and fast both. The real fast guys are like toothpicks and very one dimensional(jackson the exception).
