Dwayne Bowe Anyone?

    We need a a tall receiver who can play the Fitz roll. To Bowe's credit, he had Alex Smith throwing and Charles eating his lunch.

    I think he would be a great upgrade over Hunter.

    Chiefs will release WR Dwayne Bowe.

    They needed the cap room to fit in Ben Grubbs and Jeremy Maclin, among others. Going on age 31, Bowe becomes a top-five free agent wide receiver, joining Percy Harvin, Michael Crabtree, Stevie Johnson, and Kenny Britt. Unfortunately for him, that won't necessarily amount to much guaranteed on the open market. Bowe is coming off a 60-754-0 season in Kansas City. It's not entirely on Bowe, but he's gone 17 straight games without a touchdown catch.

    Bah I'm leery of WRs in the 2nd round. A true tall number 1 seems hard to come by.

    Is this thread serious?....Bowe is trash! I'll roll the dice on a rookie before Bowe...We already got screwed by KC with DMC. No thank you. I mean 0 td's with or without Alex Smith, that takes some damn skill.....First time since 1970 lol :clap:

    Had all the tools to be a top 5 WR, but he just comes off as too lazy and I don't think he would be a good fit here. Seems like he would always be in Whisenhunt's doghouse.

    Carolina or Jets will make a run for him.

    Very serious thread. Very serious....

    Look at the system they ran. Charles was the complete offense. I honestly think he could do something here.

    Bowe is godawful. Wouldn't even be worth a camp body. Britt but 100 times worse.

    Honestly, I don't think he brings anything to the table that Harry Douglas doesn't. I do hope we draft another WR though. Hunter is garbage.

    I think Bowe should be on the radar. he is a bigger built guy which is what we are looking for. He should be pretty cheap too.

    We can put WR depth to the back of the list.
