Carradine is my top hope. I also like Banks. I want defense, would be hard to be mad with Hunter though. Love Mccarthy, but would be pretty upset to be mad about Te'o

Carradine or Jon Hankins. Need defensive line

I think that Moore will be a great pick. There was a big knock on him for his poor workouts but the dude played damn good against some tough competition in the best conference in all of college football.

I forgot about Carradine because I thought he was taken already but I was confusing him with the other FSU guy.

If Teo is there and Moore and Carradine are gone should we take him?
  4. Sonic28

    Sonic28 Starter

    Carradine, Hunter, Banks

    some great prospects left!

I'd love Carradine. If he makes it past the Jags on the opening pick then he certainly has a chance to fall to us because detroit and cincy are the only 4-3 teams ahead of us and Detroit already took Ansah and Cincy doesn't have a need at DE. Of course a team might move up to nab him.

I wouldn't trade up to get Carradine though. Just sit back and let the draft come to us. Plenty of decent talent at DE, CB, safety, WR, and LB on the board

    Carradine, Moore, Hunt at DE
    Taylor, Slay, Banks at CB
    Hunter at WR
    Brown at LBer

One of those is guaranteed to be on the board....the run on Qbs is going to happen soon which will only work to our advantage.

I think Bostic from UF and Reddick from UNC are better than Te'o.

I think we really want a DE or CB as our 2nd rnd pick, but it would be interesting if Hunter were to fall to us. He would fill in and take the role of Cook in terms of being another BIG target. Would certainly put Britt on more notice. I think we need to go defense first of all before giving our inaccurate QB more supposed weapons though. Locker should have enough to work with. Draft the biggest impact/playmakers on defense that we can.

    Top 10:

    1. Tank Carradine. DE - Florida - Going to be a great edge rusher. Will constantly beat his man!
    2. Margus Hunt. DE - SMU - He's an unbelievable talent that can really be special.
    3. Jonathan Banks. CB - Miss. St. - Had a bad combine but he's shown he can be a PLAYER.
    4. Jamar Taylor. CB - Boise State - He has the measurements and the on field production.
    5. Darius Slay. CB - Miss. St. - Another guy who had a good combine and on the field numbers to show for it.
    6. Blidi Wreh-Wilson. CB - Connecticut - Could be that big, aggressive CB we're looking for.
    7. Justin Hunter. WR - Tennessee - Wanna go D at 40 but hard to pass up on this exceptional talent.
    8. Kawann Short. DT - Purdue - Is slipping 'cause he skipped the combine but could be a steal.
    9. Manti Te'o - MLB - Notre Dame - I know, I know.. But hard to pass up on in the second round.
    10. DJ Swearinger - S - South Carolina - He can be everything you want in a S. A HARD hitter!

I LOVE the DE & CB pool left -- good news for us! Hope we pick from there (Carradine, Hunt, Moore, Taylor, Banks, Wreh-Wilson or Slay).

Short is the best DT IMO and Cyprien and Swearinger at S.

    Minter & Teo at ILB.

Hunter would be hard to pass up on at WR.

Would be a DREAM if we landed 2 of the guys I named here.
