Watch for Josh Sweat as well. Probably a trade down target. We are meet with him multiple times.
Hubbard also met twice -- Pro Day & 30.
My money is on either Hubbard or Sweat -- no matter if we trade back or stick.
Landry has the highest upside among these 3. Hubbard is probably the safest pick to be a reliable starter, but his upside is pretty limited. Evans is the best combination of upside and safe, but a bit injury prone.
I'm going with Landry. But would be fine with Evans at 25 too. Imo, Hubbard is pretty underwhelming at 25, but if we traded down and took him I would be happy with that.
Best case scenario, we draft Landry or Hubbard in the first and draft a SS or an ILB like Kiser in the 2nd. Or the opposite, Evans in the 1st and SS or a OLB like Orokonwo or Griffin in the 2nd.
Landry can be EASILY moved by blocks -- watch the Notre Dame tape.... it'll scare you off him pretty quick... That's how he's going to perform vs NFL talent.... not to mention, he's a one trick pony... Pass Specialist.
Aren't Sweat's knees causing some concerns among teams?
Landry looks exactly like Vic Beasley, who had the same concerns. I'll take that everyday.
Not sure why, pretty sure that surgery is 4 or 5 years old now
Mixed opinions regarding Josh Sweat's knee as NFL Draft nears
Someone wants him to fall IMO
4 year old injury is history
