    Nobody is pulling the "I'm in a band, so I know more" card.
    And I don't need to pull any music experience card to know you're simply wrong Hoff. Kreiger and Manzarek did a very unique thing and nobody - to this day - has done anything close.
    Could you get some some "impersonators" from a garage band to cover their stuff? Sure, but if you have to impersonate to achieve it then it was probably something pretty unique to start with. You put generic "competent guitar player" in there and you know immediately it's not The Doors.

    Ironically, you could probably do that with The Eagles. And it probably did happen with those guys..
