Does Rusty make the 53 man???

    I really hope that we go with just Locker and Fitzpatrick as our 2 QBs. If we keep Rusty then it very likely could be at the loss of Preston

    I'd like to see

    RB-- CJ, Greene, Battle
    TE-- Stevens, Thompson, Walker
    FB-- Mooney
    WR-- Britt, Washington, Wright, Hunter, Williams, Preston
    OT-- Roos, Stewart, Otto, Stingly

    C-- Turner, Schewenke

    DE-- Morgan, Wimbley, Pitoitua, Edwards
    DT-- Hill, Casey, Klug, Martin
    LB-- Ayers, Brown, Fokou, Gooden, McCarthy, Shaw, Bailey
    CB-- Mccouorty, Verner, Campbell, Sensabaugh, Wooten, Blidi Wreh Wilson
    S-- Griffin, Pollard, Wilson, Afalava

    KR/PR-- Reynaud
    LS-- Brinkley

    No, Rusty shouldn't make the final 53. I doubt Wooten does too.

    I don't know if the Titans keep Turner, Velasco and Schwenke on the final 53-man roster.

    I think we will. They can all play C or G... not limited to one or the other.

    If Schwenke had not gotten hurt and had gotten more experience in pre-season then I think they might have just kept 2 of the 3, but we all know the Schwenke is sticking and I'm not sure if they feel good enough about him to be the starter if Turner/Velasco were to go down.

    I also think they still have last years lack of depth in the OL fresh in their mind as a major part of the downfall of last season.

    Schwenke didn't stand out at G according to a few of the draft profiles I read. I'm sure the Titans want to get him serviceable as a backup G but he's probably not there yet. If the Titans feel it's only a matter of time for Schwenke to be the #1 center, why keep Velasco and Turner?

    Velasco makes $2 mil this season regardless. The Titans already know what Velasco can do so much of this work for Turner may be just to see if he's a significant upgrade to Velasco.

    Maybe they keep all three but there will be some tough decisions on those final few spots.

    Velasco can more or less play all 5 spots on the line, I think it saves him a spot. I don't see us keeping both Otto and Stingly.

    Put Rusty on the Practice Squad. No one would claim him off waivers. If Locker or Fitz gets hurt, cut someone and promote Rusty.

    I think we will keep Smith and Antonio Johnson but lose Mooney and Wooten but other then that I agree with your list. I would like to add I think we try and keep Stephan Charles, Colin Mooney, Khalid Wooten, and Daimion Stafford to our practice squad.
