Exactly. I was just saying in shoutbox that the numbers he's putting up aren't sustainable.

Sure, he's looked great...but teams will figure him out and he'll come back to earth. He'll probably still be solid...but he's not going to be averaging 4 TDs a game all season.

It happens all the time. Young QB lights it up for a while...teams get a feel for his game and the QB gets slowed down.

He may even be one of those that go from glorious to nothingness...only time will tell.

 

He is light years better than Watson. Watson was very lucky on some of those throws last year that made his stats look tremendous.

 

Don't really see the McNair comparison tbh but he's lighting the league on fire so far

 

Dude's accurate, has a rocket arm, is mobile, extends plays, doesn't turn the ball over, has tons of talent around him, a good running game, and a defense that can't stop ****. His stats will level out, obviously there is no way he's throwing 70 TD's 0 Int's lol but he's gonna be a force for quite some time.

He's not like Prescott who had a historically good o-line and elite running game and could just dink and dunk his way to looking legit. Or like Watson who relied on risky throws and getting lucky. Guys a prototype qb in a great situation .

 

Last year it was Deshaun Watson that was the second coming of Christ.

 

The comparisons to Favre has been there for a long time. He was a gunslinger in college and is looking like that this year as well. KC has some faaaaast players in hill and hunt

 

Nah. Mahomes is actually good.
