Derrick Morgan done for year

Hopefully Babin, Ball, Hayes, and Ford can all keep it going! Maybe we should pick-up another DE.. you know how we like our DEs!

 

It sucks whenever someone has a season ending injury. Fortunately, Ball and Babin are having career years, and we have Ford and Hayes who were probably our top guys heading into this season.

Jacob Ford came back just fine after missing his rookie season with an ACL. Morgan will have plenty of time to heal and rehab for next season.

They'll probably bring on another DE. Is Raheem Brock still available? He'd be good and provides depth at UT as well.

 

I feel bad for Morgan more than I feel bad for the team. This likely won't have too much of an effect.

I'm sure this has been said plenty of times, but Ball and Babin look great. Ford should be back this week. Hayes could step it up a bit. We still have solid depth.

No immediate impact here. It's if/when the other d-lineman start getting hurt that it will have an effect on the team.

Nothing against Morgan, I hope he rehabs well and gets back to full speed next year but, I'm regretting passing on Dez Bryant more and more each day. Seriously with Wash as our D-line coach why are we drafting D-ends in the first round anyway? Wash can coach up anybody, don't know why we don't take Dez and draft a D-end later and let Wash turn him into something special.
