DeMarco Murray Ruled Out vs. Chiefs

Not sure I agree with this....Yeah, I agree that he would not have taken that screen pass to the house, but I would also submit that he would not have run into MM on the play that resulted in the Jags only TD. Also, I have a tough time seeing Murray turn a 2 yard loss into a 15 yard loss, basically putting us on our own goal line.

IMO about a wash...neither one would have impressed. That said, maybe Henry backs up his "anger" with some real play this week....time will tell.

Henry goofed up on the fumble, but other than that mistake the rest of his bad runs where 100% on Robiskie putting him in those situations

 

Saban is a tough coach. If Henry was as bad as you think, he would never have started. This system just makes him look bad, and I believe he is frustrated and trying to make something out of nothing. M8 is doing no better. He appears totally confused most of the time and is doing the same, running instead of throwing. We have got to find an OC with some brains to utilize what we have. Everyone on this board laughs at this predictable offense, and probably most of the NFL.

 

Converting a 2 yard loss into a 15 yard loss is totally on him IMO....otherwise I take your point here.

 

On 4th down the Ravens RB did the exact thing and it went 35 yards and a TD. Sometime it works.

 

Sometimes a hail mary works too....doesn't mean you do it when backed up on your goal line early in a pivotal game though. Bad judgment IMO.

 

I would be more concerned if he did it from the opponents 30 and cost us a FG. We had little to lose in field position.

 

On fourth down you do anything to make a play

On first or second you go down and take the two yard loss

 

Even Murray has reversed his run, against the Jags... remember? If it works everyone is happy.
