Deebo trade request....

I'm starting to feel like all this WR drama this offseason is collusion amongst them.

 

Deebo and AJ has the same agent so yea probably. End of the day it's the players decision where he goes but someone telling you he can get you an extra 5 mil a year is a powerful persuasion factor. We've offered 20 mil to AJ so the ball is in his court, very reasonable offer but apparently we've told him we know you can get more elsewhere but this is what we can afford and are at. Think we've played the right move tbh, high offer, stability and his skillset and our offense compliment each other.

 

I have trouble believing JR actually told him he knew he could get more from another team. Weak negotiating technique.

 

Is it though? If he comes back with a counter offer means he wants to stay and play for the team. No counter offer then you know he's just gonna stay for the wage. Nothing can stop JR moving in again with another offer. 20 million is a respectable offer and he'd be just be respecting AJ and his position, Aj knows already he can get more elsewhere anyways.

 

I think that’s agent driven.

 

Not a good idea telling him that if true, AJ knows that, the GM shouldn't mention it

 

Both players want paid. I'm pretty confident they don't care where it comes from (within reason; they still want to win).
