I guess you can say that The rise and fall of Ziggy stardust was his best work but he had 12-15 best albums in my opinion. No album is better top to bottom than Heroes and Low is comparable and has a special place because it came first. Lodger is an after thought to some people and it is a classic. How many big time pop stars do an experimental album that is more than half instrumental pieces? Sound and Vision is probably my favorite song and it is practically an instrumental piece. Station to Station is brilliant, Scary Monsters is brilliant. Earthling is mind blowing good with the drums and guitar and his last great album in my opinion Heathen is insane. Outside is dark, a bit psycho and full of brilliant songs and musicianship. Three albums he did before Ziggy are classics. Space Oddity-The man who sold the world-Hunky Dory.
