People hated my thread about Mike Turner... even more when it came true.

 

And unproven, and won't see the field for 2 years until he learns 4 playbooks and 20 years of film because that's how Fish rolls.

What is with this team and its fan's obsession with trying to find bargain deals in the draft when proven talent is just sitting there staring you in the face? Ridiculous.

 

It takes 2 years to be a kick/punt returner?

that's news.

You don't need "proven" talent that costs an arm and a leg to do simple things like return kicks. You need a young kid that's hungry to make plays.

Rarely ever are seasoned vets good returners.

 

Well if it takes 2 years to be TE or WR on this team I expect running back kicks must be just as confusing for rookies

 

I knew Turner would be good, he was good in SD.

I picked him in fantasy football the season the Falcons picked him up. and he did great.

 

No, it's not misleading. They averaged a league worse 3.3 yards per carry.
That's why LT was released and why Sproles was let go.

 

Yea I mean I thought Turner could be good, but wouldn't have thought Sproles would ever have a chance to start 2 yrs ago. And L.T. not being a top tier back anymore on his way to Emmit's numbers. I'm a little surprised with the majority of that.

 

Yes it is misleading. I saw plenty of 3rd and shorts where the running game converted. That's a successful rushing attack if you ask me.

 

Crazy to see San Diego clean house like they are. Michael Turner turned out to a huge stud for ATL and I can't say I saw that happening.

LT to drop off so bad is also shocking. I kinda always new that Sproles couldn't be any every down back. Couldn't ever understand why TF they even franchised him.

I still hate the Chargers so I ain't sorry for em at all. I will be wishing LT and Sproles well though.
